This experimental book design tells the story of Narcissus from Ovid's Metamorphoses, using a series of large-format pages. Drawing inspiration from Narcissus' reflection in the water, it translates the themes of mirrors, water and distorted perception into a dynamic reading experience. Overlapping text columns shift and intertwine like moving water, disrupting the linear flow of reading and reflecting Narcissus's growing inner turmoil. The two main text columns remain structurally consistent, gradually mirroring and displacing each other. A narrow column of the original Latin text accompanies the composition, emphasising the connection between the source text and its visual transformation.
