The project 4.8 x 2.4 by Liam Statz and Jonathan Simon-Weidner, explores the form of seating furniture through a series of studies.To accompany the event, we have designed a small booklet that unfolds into a poster. Like the furniture study and chess event itself, the publication transforms a functional object into a visual exploration of form and material. Printed double-sided on raw linen, the tactile surface of the booklet reflects the project’s focus on materiality and craftsmanship.
